The end

The end of breast feeding that is! I have only bf twice yesterday and once today and already I can see the huge difference. He is so much more contented. It's a reflux friendly one so I think that helps. He is only feeding every 4 hours, he sleeps deeper and for longer only waking once for a feed at 11 then through till 4:30. He has 3 naps per day anywhere from 1-3hours. His hands have stopped shaking, he is controlled with his hands, reaching and grabbing for things, rolls back to front and back again, is doing awesome push ups and holding for ages, commando shuffling backwards!

I don't know if he would have progressed the same on breast milk but the fact he fed so regularly, always had the reflux bothering him all which affected his sleep I would think he wouldn't have. I feel bad that my milk wasn't enough for him and that I should have done something about it sooner but I am glad I have done it now. He initially missed mummy closeness and hated the bottle bit he takes it well now and he still gets lots of close cuddles with me so he is happy :)

I am wondering though if this now marks the starting of ttc#2. I won't chart or anything but I will mark the end of breast feeding because if my cycle doesn't return in around 6 weeks I could possibly be pregnant! Wow!
