Flunamai!

Posted by Unknown at 7:35 PM 0 comments
We have now all got Tyler's cold/flu.
I am going to have to keep an eye on him, it's day 4 of no real eating, he drinks a little water everyday so that's the main thing. He isn't sleeping still so has super red droopy eyes. He looks as sick as he sounds. He has a heavy cold sounding voice and his cough is really chesty. I am worried about it turning into croup. Problem is its Easter weekend! Makes seeing a dr in a few days very hard. Might have to take him tomorrow.

I am most worried about Blake. The rest of us are a bit older of course and have more fat on us. He is so tiny and doesnmt have any fat. :(

Well they are both sleeping so I might get a nap in too. It's certainly a nasty cold.

Finally losing it!

Posted by Unknown at 6:42 PM 0 comments
My mind that is! I finally at breaking point!
I was told that around the 4 month mark was when having two close together would really hit home and omg I guess it well and truly is.

We are on about our 3 week of sickness and the constant crying and whinging and not eating and 1million poos a day is really driving me to the batty house.

First was me with gastro. I had it 24 hours had to look after the kids couldn't even be sick and then Blake got hit with it. 2 week later of watery runny poos and 120g lost I took him to the health nurse that said put him on lactose free for a week, give his gut time to repair after the gastro and he should be fine. Straight away it worked and I couldn't have been happier to see a normal poo.

Tyler for about a week or so had been super duper clingy not sure why, wont let me leave him with anyone else. Balls his eyes out at day care, refuses all sleeps and cries and cries for hours. Anyway 3 days after Blake finally has a normal poo Tyler wakes up from his nap with a temperature and F'ing spots all over his trunk. GREAT! The temperature abated pretty quick but he has a green snotty nose and a horrible chesty cough. NOT F'ING HAPPY JAN!

So he isn't sleeping well at night is refusing all day naps won't eat any food. All in all horrible.
Now Blake is being really unsettled and won't have any awake time with out whinging and crying so I am thinking he has been hit with it too and it's only a matter of time before the external symptoms appear.

I don't know if its day care that has stuffed Tyler's day sleeping routine but he has gone from 2-4hour naps down to 40mins- 1hour on a good day. That and all the sickness he is bringing home I am really wondering if day care is worth it. At first it was great for time out to get done what I needed to but lately it's made it so I have no time out at all day or night. We were in a great routine and now it's all stuffed up.

This will be day 3 of no day nap and an over tired feral child. I try everything even lying in bed with him but he just won't go down to sleep. So he has been getting to 5pm and he isn't one of those kids that if tired will just fall asleep. Oh no he screams the house down like he is being murdered.

All in all I am just completely exhausted.

B has started gambling again, my maternity leave from the government is about to run out and we are back to the no way of paying bills. I have tried to talk to B about it but its always a disaster. Family is what is important to me not money or material possessions yet he works 7-7 everyday including weekends to put money back into a business that's not even supporting our family. Honestly what is the point? Go get a job that covers the bills and is a 9-5, 5 days a week and actually spend time with the boys. It's falling on deaf ears and I don't know what to do anymore. I am tempted to go on antidepressants not because I am necessarily depressed but to give me a false happiness so I don't have to emotionally deal with this constant crap anymore. Something like Valium to dull the senses and emotions. B loves drama a has to have it in his life. It's a horrible way to live.
I want a comfortable home, the bills to be paid, food for the family and I'm happy. Going to the park with the kids or the beach etc are the things I enjoy doing. At the moment we do nothing enjoyable.

Please let a break be coming soon.

On another note my first AF arrived and was exactly when I expected to. 27days post stopping bfing and 14days post when i predicted I had ovulated due to all the signs. Good to see my body is working. There is no way I am having another one though. At this point there is far to much crap to sort first and at this rate I won't have another. It's not fair on the child.
I'm not going back on the pill. I want my body to have a break from all the changing hormone stuff and just be allowed to be. So seeing as my relationship with B is so crap right now anyway I don't see anything happening in the bedroom!

Well might make another attempt at putting Tyler down for a nap. Here comes WW3!

Return of my cycle

Posted by Unknown at 3:33 AM 0 comments
About 3 days ago I got the biggest most disgusting glob of EWCM! Yuk! Again yesterday it was distinctly EW and I had intense ovulation pain. In my head I was thinking but I only stopped the pill and BFing about a week ago!! Oh no go back to my calendar and low and behold it was cd13/14!!! CM is creamy today so I would say it was yesterday.

That is how the whoopsy happened with Blake I thought of it's OK AF only finished the other day. When u are TTC those 13-14days take FOREVER!!!! when not TTC bang ur ovulating. Saturday night B and I had some drunk fun but I am pretty sure we were safe!

Oh and please don't be mistaken I am not charting to TTC I am charting to prevent. I have been thinking about it and thinking perhaps May next year to start TTC. A winter baby in 2015 :) that would be nice.

Unfortunately our house has been struck with some kind of stomach flu. I got it first. Thought it was perhaps food poisoning well I was hoping that way no one else would get it. Sadly it's little Blake that has it now :( he is hardly eating, has extreme watery diarrhea and a slight temp and if anything like what I had extreme migraine and achy muscles and joints. I only had it for 24hours so I'm hoping he will be over it soon.
Tyler was a whingy nightmare today so I am really hoping he isn't next but that is usually the tell tale sign he is getting sick. He just walks around the house making this whingy grunting noise. Omg it's annoying.

My sister is up this weekend for wedding dress shopping. She wants us to try on bridesmaids dresses while she is here. I still have 15-20kg to lose and would have liked to lose a little more but august is getting closer so we can't leave it too much longer. The other 2 bridesmaids are currently pregnant one due in 4 weeks the other in 9 weeks so i guess they don't want to try on dresses even more than me!

Well bed time. Blakey being sick and not eating much means he wakes a few times a night for a little feed.

Time to finally complete an entry!

Posted by Unknown at 8:59 PM 0 comments
For the 20th time over the last month it is about time I actually finished and published a blog!

A lot has been happening over the last month. First off I got accepted into uni, put everything in order to start but when it came time to leave Blake in day care I simply could not do it. I had a complete panic attack and mental break down. He is only this little once and he needs his mummy and more importantly his mummy needs him. So I spoke to B about it and I have deferred for the year. It's extremely unlikely I will go back but its better I defer just incase something changes. 12months is a long time.

Little Blakey is 3 months old now. I retired his 000 this morning and out came the 00. He is trying to roll and also loves sitting up (with my assistance of course as he isn't strong enough yet) with me helping him many times a day he should perhaps be sitting unassisted around the 4 months mark like Tyler was. He loves his jumpers already which is crazy. So much for a quiet 2nd one!

He is such a smilie happy little guy. He is so chatty. The kid never shuts up lol. It's so wonderful though, after Tyler being a reflux baby and not bring much of a talker and usually always screaming seeing Blake smile and giggle and chat constantly is amazing.

Tyler is actually 18months old today. He is really good. In the wars a bit lately not really sure why but his lips are getting a battering. The other day after day care he was really hyper and running around like crazy, I was in bathing Blake when I heard the commotion but apparently he tripped over his little couch and caught himself on the coffee table. B said it wasn't hard but he just hit it at the perfect angle and his tooth when through his lip :( ouch. Lots of blood! He was fine 5 mins later and back to being hyper again. Since then though he has managed to catch both his top and bottom lip on various things. Also managed to somehow hit his chin, which i still can't work out. I was next to him when he tripped and went down and I didn't see his chin even come close to anything but he was holding it and crying and sure enough the next day a bruise had come up.
He is certainly his mothers son though. Every addition bruise his manages to give himself it reminds me of myself. It wasn't simply that i was clumsy I somehow always managed to find something to hit on my way down causing myself some kind on injury.
Unfortunately Tyler is more of a daredevil than I was and is forever climbing things. We haven't had a fall injury yet but I am certainly not looking forward to it when we do.

Tyler started daycare about a month ago. Just 2 days a week. He absolutely loves it. Today was the first day he wouldn't let me go. :( hope he is ok. Normally he loves it. I say do u want to go to school and he runs off and gets his school bag. He is so cute with his school bag. It's been really good for him to get out and get some extra stimulation. He really needed it.

Well there is probably way more to catch up on but time has run out yet again!!
