Yesterday was a fighting match between me and Tyler and he won, OMG that boy can scream! I think its a bit of his reflux, but yesterday I knew he needed to do a poo and hadn't done one! I couldn't get him back down to sleep as his tummy was clearly giving him so much grief, I gave him two lots of Gripe water over the 2 hours I was trying to get him down, all he wanted to do was feed for comfort which I am sure was making it all worse! In the end I gave in and took him back to bed, I fed and cuddled him. He ended up sleeping/feeding for around 3 hours. When he woke up he did a massive poo! YAY!
He was still very tired though but had a bit of a restless night. Only up the two times but after the second he was very restless. DH took him this morning though so I could get a little bit more sleep which was nice of him. DH came and woke me up though as he got hungry, (Tyler that is! lol) so I fed him and he went to sleep for again 1 x30min sleep cycle! He woke up with a sore tummy again, constant burping, and this of course hurts his reflux. I fed him again and he did a poo but still wouldn't settle. So I gave him some gripe water and he wouldn't feed which is good, but OMG what a fight to get him to sleep. He couldn't even keep his eyes open but was being such a stubborn little turd! hehe
So now he has been down for 40mins still very relaxed and hopefully its this 2nd sleep cycle that does the trick and it lasts a bit longer! Although it took me 2 hours to get him back down so does that count as a 2nd sleep cycle?
This heat isn't helping he is such a VERY hot baby! I caved and turned the air con on again. After $1000 electricity bill the other day I was a little scared to but I have no choice. It doesn't help that the air con is in the lounge room which is a massive open space covering all our living areas, so it just chews the electricity!
Wow he just stirred and went back to sleep! Fingers crossed this is sleep cycle 3!!!
Well thought I would pop a photo! This was taken at around 11weeks so I need to find a more recent one! Can't believe he is nearly 3.5months old!
