The Dr forwarded me my results this morning and when I received the email I didn't really have time to read it so quickly glanced at it. All I saw was this......
Trisomy 21: 1 in 792
Trisomy 18: 1 in 1982
Trisomy 13: 1 in 6205
OMG CUE FREAKOUT!!!!!!!!
But once I had time to read it, it all made better sense lol
History: Maternal age 28 years. Estimated gestational age based on menstrual data is
12 weeks 3 days. EDD 11/09/2011.
The background risk according to maternal age is:
Trisomy 21: 1 in 792
Trisomy 18: 1 in 1982
Trisomy 13: 1 in 6205
Findings: There is a single live intrauterine fetus. The placenta is developing posteriorly Fetal heart activity present at 160 bpm.
The following measurements were obtained:
CRL 69.1mm 13 weeks 0 days
BPD 22.2mm 12 weeks 4 days
HC 82.3mm 12 weeks 6 days
Ultrasound derived gestational age: 13 weeks.
Nuchal Translucency: 1.6mm.
Adjusted risk of aneuploidy using nuchal translucency, biochemistry and computer analysis of the Fetal Medicine Foundation, London is:
Trisomy 21: 1 in 15,842
Trisomy 18: 1 in 39,641
Trisomy 13: 1 in 124,091
Conclusion: Single live intrauterine fetus of 13 weeks with EDD of 7/09/2011.
This examination places the patient in the LOW risk range for fetal aneuploidy. Detailed morphology ultrasound is recommended at 18-20 weeks.
YAY So fantastic news all around. Peanut is doing super fantastic. I know its pushed my due date forward but I am going to keep it the same. Peanut is just a big baby lol or like me, long torso with little stumpy legs lol!
